This year's DrupalCamp is coming to the Ruhr area
This year's meeting of the German and Central European Drupal communities will take place in Essen in 2025. The Ruhr community is once again inviting participants to a two-day DrupalCamp at the Unperfekthaus in Essen.
DrupalCamp Ruhr: Two days of sessions, networking, and contribution in Essen
Following the success of last year's DrupalCamp Berlin, DrupalCamp 2025 will take place in North Rhine-Westphalia. For the seventh time, the Unperfekthaus in Essen will be the venue for Germany's largest tech conference focusing on Drupal. The local Drupal User Group Ruhr is organizing the camp in cooperation with Drupal e.V.
Barcamp meets conference: English sessions in the program
DrupalCamp Ruhr has a long tradition. It is being held in Essen for the seventh time. This year, the team has planned a combination of Barcamp and scheduled sessions. Interestingly, the entire program will be held in English to enable international community members to participate.

This year's featured speakers include Cristina Chumillas and Antje Lorch. Additional sessions have been submitted and the program promises a colorful mix of topics, including Drupal and AI, an update on the Drupal CMS, accessibility, and many more.

DrupalCamp in Germany: Networking & Knowledge Transfer
DrupalCamps have been highly valued within the community for many years. As in many open source communities, they are considered the most important events for exchanging ideas, driving innovation, learning from each other, and contributing together.

In 2024, the last DrupalCamp in Germany took place in Berlin with more than 170 participants (DrupalCamp Berlin), but the Drupal community has also met in Hamburg, Munich, Schwerin, Frankfurt, and many other cities in the past.

It's worth arriving early, as a get-together is planned for the evening before DrupalCamp at Temple Bar, Salzmarkt 1, 45127 Essen.
