Splash Awards 2025 - the digital award for Drupal projects is back
Hold on tight - the Splash Awards are back! And twice as much in 2025. In addition to the Splash Awards Germany and Austria, there will also be an international competition this year for the first time since 2019, in which projects from all over Europe will compete against each other! The digital projects, developed on the basis of Drupal, will be judged by a top-class jury in almost a dozen categories.
The Splash Awards are back!
In 2025, the Splash Awards Germany and Austria will take place in Austria for the first time after seven successful award events - and that's not all: the international Splash Award will also return in 2025.

The Splash Awards *in cooperation with Drupal Austria), which have been taking place in Germany since 2017, look for the best digital projects based on Drupal among all submissions every year. The event has previously taken place in Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt and Mannheim and will be held in the Austrian partner country for the first time in 2025. The presentation of the coveted awards will take place on October 15, 2025 at Palais Wertheim in Vienna / as an official side event of DrupalCon Vienna 2025.

Splash Awards International
The year 2025 is a special one: this year, the Splash Awards International will take place for the first time since 2019 - marking the long-awaited return of the international competition, in which digital projects from numerous countries compete for the title. This year's award ceremony will take place on October 14 during DrupalCon Vienna (not to be confused with the national competition, the Splash Awards Germany and Austria, whose award ceremony will take place on October 15).
The submission phase for the international Splash Awards is in full swing: companies can submit their digital projects until June 16.
